Coursed stone walls of mid C19 date flank the road on either side. (It was the
drive of Merstham House, now demolished). At each side 3 thick stone piers at
intervals, the inner ones with ball finials, the thickest of all being attached
to Priors' Mead. Included for group value.

The Old Manor, Court Cottage, North Cottage, St Nicholas Cottage. Priors' Mead
and the Walls and Gate Piers to south-east of Priors' Mead form a group.
