The complete building is a house of 2 or 3 builds. Mead Cottage, to north has
2.5 bays of good, square, early C17 timber framing, brick filled, and a modern
north extension of imitation timber framing. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows
in all, modern casements. High pitched tiled roof with 2 modern hipped dormers
and an old compound ridge stack. This roof runs south over the first bay of
Wistaria Cottage which has an C18 red brick front although it may be older inside.
The 2 southern bays of Wistaria Cottage are early C19 under a low pitched hipped
slate roof, and also of red brick. Segmental arches to sash windows with glazing
bars. Entrance on left return under gabled porch.
