Former row of cottages, dated 1796, of 2 storeys, 5 windows in all. Northernmost
bay of coursed chalk blocks with red brick dressings and quoins, the remainder
red brick in Flemish bond (with blue headers in southernmost bay). South end
weatherboarded, rear wall blank and stuccoed. Tiled roof. Some sash windows
with glazing bars, some small paned modern casements.

Merstham Garage, The White Cottage, York Cottages, The Gables, and Home Cottage
form a group of which The White Cottage and York Cottages are local interest only.
