C18 ornamental garden building, Very attractive of its kind. Rectangular
building of 2 storeys and 1 window, faced with flints. Parapet. 2 ogival
headed open arches, on each of the long sides, give entrance to a grotto-like
chamber paved with pebbles, brick and bones set in a geometrical pattern.
The walls are faced with shells and spar. Pillars support a ceiling of imitation
stalactites made of felspar and tufa. On the outside of the building to the
right is a curved staircase with a wood handrail of chinoiserie design, leading
to the room above, which has one casement window set in a round-headed opening.
