Cottage. Early C19 on older core. Incised whitewashed render cladding with stone-
coped parapet partly obscuring the plain tiled roof. Two storeys and at an angle
to the street on the right half. Stack to left. Round-arched sash window to left
on first floor, square bay projecting to right with fluted mullions to 8-pane
glazing-bar sash windows on the first floor. 12-pane glazing-bar sash window
below in Doric pilaster surround. Square porch projecting to left with half-
glazed and panelled door under traceried transom light and elaborate scrolled
railings to balcony over. Right half of front angled away from street: one first
floor glazing-bar sash window and one 9-pane sash window below. Casement window
to ground floor right. Single storey extension to right where ground rises.
Formerly listed with Horn castle.
