GV II

Handed pair of cottages. Circa 1840. Red/brown brick with blue headers in chequer-
work pattern on right hand return front, low pitched hipped slate roofs. Two
storeys with rebuilt end stacks. Four-windowed front, two on each cottage; outer
windows on first floor,12-pane glazing-bar sashes under rendered lintels, inner two
windows now blocked. Outer glazing-bar sash windows on ground floor, with plinth
below to left where ground drops away. Doors of 6 panels to left and right of
centre with top two panels of each glazed.
