Handed pair of villas. Early C19. Red/brown brick, stuccoed on front with low
pitched, hipped slate roof. Two storeys over deep basement with central stack
under diagonal brick dentils. Symmetrical elevation around central, narrow,recess
panel. Ground floor rusticated with plat band over and rusticated end piers to
first floor above. Four 16-pane glazing-bar sash windows across the first floor,
two to each cottage. One 16-pane glazing bar sash window either side of centre
on the ground floor in elliptically arched blind panel surround. 4-panel doors
to ends in round-arched surrounds, approached by flight of steps on arch supports.
One 8-pane glazing bar sash window to basement storey of each cottage. C19 railings
across front with spear tops; gate to right and railings flanking steps with
scrolled ends. Irregular sash fenestration to rear.
