4/8 The Cottage.

Cottage. Late C16, extended and restored in C20. Timber framed, exposed
on right hand return front with brick infilling, brick and rubblestone
underbuild on ground floor. Tile hung on first floor across front with
plain tiled roofs, half hipped to right, hipped to left. Two storeys
with end stacks to left and valley stack to rear right, further stacks to
rear. Four gabled through-eaves dormers on first floor, four leaded
casements across the ground floor, including one angle bay window to
centre. Glazed door to left of centre. Parallel range to rear right
with angle bay to end, leaded windows.

Left hand return front: further door to left in lower extension.
