Milepost. Probably mid-to-late C19. Cast iron with black painted base
and raised lettering. Triangular in section with chamfered top, sloping
to front. Lettered: "MUCKLESTONE" on top; "ECCLESHALL 9/STAFFORD 16"
on left; "KNIGHTON 1 1/3 /PIPEGATE 2½ /WOORE 3 1/3 /NANTWICH ll½" on right.
