Almshouse row. Circa 1912. Red brick with raised quoins. Plain tiled roof, hipped
with 2 ridge stacks. Single storey. Entrance arches at both ends of front and off
centre to left. Small casement windows to left and right of centre.
Whiteley Village was provided by William Whiteley of Whiteley's stores for thrifty
old folk and was laid out on octagonal lines by Frank Atkinson, employing leading
architects of the day.
