9/3 Serpentine walls to north
of Bramfield Hall

GV II

Continuous stretch of serpentine walling forming part of the northern boundary
of the grounds of Bramfield Hall. Late C18, part possibly C19, later repairs.
Red brick with brick coping; stretcher bond, one brick thick. The section to
Walpole Road has a mid C19 gateway: small flint pebbles, white brick dressings,
semi-circular headed doorway with 6-panel door; this section of walling has
group value in relation to the church.
