9/2 Barn 30m west of Bramfield
Hall

Tithe barn. Probably C16. Mainly timber framed, a small part of red brick,
partly weatherboarded and partly plastered; roof of glazed pantiles. 7 or 8
bays with an intermediate floor except at the north end. Arched braces to
trusses, roof with lower row of butt purlins and upper row of clasped purlins,
arched wind bracing, very closely spaced rafters. A largely unaltered timber
frame of high quality.
