- of Westwood Lodge

GV II


Barn. Early-mid C17 with later extension. Timber framed and weatherboarded,
brick gable end to north; corrugated iron roof. Originally 5 bays with a
central cart entrance; extended to south by additional 4 bays. Roof with upper
row of clasped purlins and lower row of butt purlins; most of the arched braces
have been replaced by bolted-on knees.
