Terrace of 3 cottages, originally one house. C15 and C17. Two cells of an
open hall house, the left hand (parlour) cell added in C17. 2 storeys. 4
windows. Timber-framed and plastered. Pantiled roof, once thatched. An
axial C17 chimney of narrow red bricks, and a C19 end chimney to right.
Mainly small-pane C19 sashes; C20 casements to right. 3 C19 boarded entrance
doors; and one with 4 panels. The C15 building had once a lower eavesline,
which can be traced above the 1st storey windows. The medieval roof remains,
with smoke-encrusted coupled rafters.
