Shown on OS Map as Back Street. Barn. Early to mid C17, extended early C18.
Timber frame, weatherboarded, some rendering and corrugated sheet cladding.
Steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof. 3 bays with 2 bay added midstrey.
Central bay open to yard, midstrey opposite, a loft opening to rear, lean-to
to left side of midstrey. Interior: full height studding with cranked braces
in walling, left end wall rebuilt, jowled posts with cranked arched braces to
tie beams, collars and halved principals clasp purlins, cranked windbraces.
Midstrey has through tension bracing, inserted floor, staggered tenoned
purlins, cambered collars.
