Probably C16/17. Timber-framed 4 bay barn with red brick infill panels, on sandstone
plinth, partly weatherboarded. The north 2 bays are of sandstone ashlar with
ventilation holes. Tiled roof with gabled ends, the north end is slightly lower
and has cartway through. The south end has tiebeams, lower angle strutts and
collars. Separating cartway bay from the north end bay there is a tiebeam supported
by a central post with 2 arched braces springing from its base.
