GV II

House and shop. C18. Chalkstone, with tiled roof replacing
thatch. Single storey and attic, raised in smaller chalkstone to 2
storeys, extended to left by a further 2 bay wing. Original
building in left 2 bays with present door to living hall and
parlour in right bay. Third bay beyond stack added. Glazed C20
porch over entrance. Bay windows to ground floor, paned casement
windows to upper floor. Brick stacks, that to right inserted.
First bay of lower wing has similar paned window and brick end bay
tall timber doors. Roof hipped over third bay down to lower tiled
roof over wing. C20 extensions at rear.
Interior has chamfered spine beam, central partition removed.
