6/155 Poulton House



House, 1706. Diaper brickwork with stone quoining. Slate roof. 2-
storey and attic, 7 x 2 bays with mid C19 2-storey rear extension.
3 centre bays broken forward, quoined and pedimented, and
containing central entrance, 6-panelled door in moulded case and
bracketed broken pediment with central urn. 12-pane sashes with
gauged brick flat arches. Plat band and oculus in pediment.
Moulded and dentilled cornice and pediment. Roof hipped, 2 flat
roofed dormers with 20-pane sashes. Stacks on internal walls. C19
canted bay on east elevation.
Interior not accessible, said to have panelling and a good C18
