1352-0/9/193 Glenbrook Hotel inc Henry's Kitchen
GV II

Hotel and restaurant. c1840, shown on tithe map of 1842 but
with end gable dated 1882 with a crest and motto 'EST NEC
ASTU'. Stone rubble with wooden decorative features and
thatched roof. L-shaped building of 2 storeys. South-west
elevation has 4 gabled dormers with fretted bargeboards having
pendants and casement windows with angular hood moulding. 2
brick chimneystacks, set diagonally on ridge. To right of this
is the L wing with half-hipped roof and oriel window.
South-east elevation has 4 windows, 2 in half-hipped gables
and 2 gables and glazed verandah with rustic columns. 4
diagonally placed yellow brick chimneystacks.
