Semi-detached pair. c1850-60. Stuccoed with slate roof and
cast iron balcony. 2 storeys and semi-basement. 4 windows.
Hipped slate roof with flat eaves. South front facing the road
has a full height centred stucco bay to left and narrower full
height canted bay to right, both with roof hipped over French
casements to ground and first floors, giving access to main
feature of the elevation, a cast iron and wooden verandah with
first floor balcony returned to sides and ornate balustrading
after the Italian style and fretted work to verandah which is
Mughal in inspiration. Left-hand round-headed first floor
window. The verandah is returned to sides. Gable to right side
elevation which has pierced bargeboards, round-headed first
floor window and triple arcaded porch.
