House. Early C19 and mid C19. Red brick, Flemish bond and plain-tiled roofs.
Internal stack to south pitch of roof. Main range with cross-wing at west end.
The east cross-wing was added mid C19. One storey and attic. On the front are 3
gables including the 2 cross-wings. All later C19 wood casements under segmental
arches. Doorway in similar arch to cross-passage away from the hearth. Late in
C19 a service range was added parallel and adjoining the west cross-wing. 2
storeys on the front. Segmental arch to passage. Boarded door. Interior: No
features older than early C19 were visible at ground floor. Inglenook hearth
with early C19 cupboards. Staircase at side of stack. Ceilings exposed. Boxed
beams and machine-cut joists laid on edge. Service range for a wash-house and
dairy.
