House. 1595. Timber-frame with rendered infill. Plain-tile roof with ridge stack
of red brick. Projecting side stack to west cross-wing. Squared and irregularly
coursed sandstone with cornice of moulded stone. Stone inscribed with initials
W.P., F.P. and A.P. and the date. Three, diagonally-set shafts of red brick.
Double-ended hall house. 2 storeys. 3 first floor C20 wood casements. 2 at
ground floor and doorway with late C20 door on site of original away from the
hearth. The ground floor framing has been rendered. The west cross-wing of 2
storeys and attic. Ground floor also rendered. Each gable end has a late C20
wood casement to each storey. Exposed framing of small panels with short upward
bracing.
