Farmhouse. Right range late C16/early C17; left wing mid C19. Right range of
regular coursed limestone with bands of ironstone. C20 tile roof has coped gable
parapets with kneelers; stone ridge stack. Roughcast brick C19 range has dentil
cornice. Old tile hipped roof; rendered ridge and end stacks. L-plan, with cross
wing on left. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. C19 rendered lean-to in angle
has slate roof. Half-glazed door in right return side. 3-window right range has
3-light casements with glazing bars in altered openings to ground floor. Upper
floors have 3-light moulded mullioned windows. First floor has small single
light to right. Attic has large central dormer with cornice above window, and
painted sundial. Wing has 4-pane sashes; moulded rendered flat arches with
keyblocks. Left return side is a 4-window range. Two C20 French windows. Canted
bay on right. Interior said to have chamfered ceiling beams.
