Farmhouse. C15, with C16 cross-wing to right; C20 additions to left.
Close-studded timber-framing with brick infill to ground floor of cross-wing;
large timber-framing with brick infill to first floor of cross-wing; brick to
centre range; old plain-tile roof; brick lateral stack to right return of
cross-wing. Probably originally hall house plan. Single storey and attic; 2-bay
original central range, with 2-storey cross-wing to right. C20 door to porch at
right of central range under catslide roof which forms verandah across central
range. C20 casements in irregular fenestration. C20 full dormers to central
range. Interior: winder staircase between ground and first floors to right of
central range. 2 pairs of cruck trusses to central range. C20 additions to left
not of special architectural interest.
