6/252 Railway Cottage

Cottage, C16-C17 or earlier. Probably originally timber framed,
now faced with whitewashed brick. Thatched roof. Single storey
and attic, 3 bays. Door on west wide opposite cross passage
behind central stack, stair to rear of stack. Two bays to south
now living room and kitchen, with gable stack. North bay with
large external brick stack. Timber casement windows, C19. Roof
with 2 dormers on west, one on east.
Interior probably has cruck frame between the two southern bays.
