2. End cottages of a rank. Late C17. 2 storeys of lower elevation than No 10. Rubble with ashlar window surrounds. Stone-tiled roofs. No 9 has 1 window to first-floor, 2 windows to ground-floor. Casements with leaded lights. Plain square-headed doorway to left, with 4-panel door. No 9A has 2 windows, 2-light leaded casements with stone mullions and dripmould extending over both windows. Plain square-headed doorway to left. Tablet between first floor windows with "D.W.S. 1697".
