Plain string at first-floor level, moulded cornice and plain parapet.
Modern pantile roof. 5 windows. Sashes, some with glazing bars, architrave
surrounds, flat cornices over first-floor windows. On the ground-floor
is one sash window in plain reveals, on the left of which are 2 plain
square-headed doorways, and on the right an elliptical-arched opening
(blocked) leading to rear of premises. To left of the front is a small
shop-window with plain fascia supported by pilasters with sunk panels.
No 2 forms a group with Nos 27 to 29 (consec) Silver Street, Nos 3 to
8 (consec), The Shambles, Nos 2,5, and 6 and The Kings Arms Hotel, Coppice
Hill.
