Mid C18. 3-storeys. Coursed rubble. Slate roof, eaves. Plain strings
at first and second floor levels, and at first floor window-sill level.
5 windows, mostly sashes with glazing bars, in architrave surrounds.
4 second-floor windows with casements grouped in pairs. No 25 has a square-headed
doorway to left with architrave surround, oblong fanlight and half-glazed
door. 3 windows on ground-floor, then square-headed doorway to right
of No 26. Doorway has Tuscan pilasters, entablature and pediment. The
doorway-level of this side of the building corresponds to first floor
level in No 27 downhill. Consequently, No 26 is approached from the
left by a turning flight of 6 stone steps.

Nos 5 to 8 (consec) and Boundary wall at Priory Lodge form a group with
Nos 10 to 35 (consec) and elevated pavement in front of No 21.
