Earlier house with front of early C19 (circa 1804). Ashlar, stone-tiled
roof behind plain parapet. 3 storeys 3 windows in main facade, sashes,
architrave surrounds. Side windows on 1st floor have flat cornices over,
centre window triangular pediment. Plain strings at 1st floor level and
1st floor window sill level. Moulded and dentilled cornice. Central
doorway with semi-circular head, keystone and imposts. Flanking pilasters
with entablature and pediment. Glazed french doors each side of central
door. Side elevation has angular bay rising through all floors, with
sash windows in plain reveals. French door on ground floor of bay. Long
range of low outbuildings, probably late C17/early C18, runs from the
rear of the house to north along Woolley Street.
