Lodge. Circa 1840. Orange brick on ashlar plinth; hipped slate brick ridge stack. Aligned east-west facing east, semi-octagonal eastern projection. East front: one storey with overhanging eaves supported on braced timber piers; 3 pointed windows with Gothic glazing bars to central semi-octagonal projection; flanking doors with 4-centred heads and Gothic panels. Both north and south sides have a pointed window with Gothic glazing bars. Threapwood Lodge was formerly a lodge to Alton Towers (q.v. Farley C.P.). Included as an unaltered example.
