- Canopy and railings
approximately 10 yards
East of Chancel of
Church of St. Peter.

Chest tomb, canopy and railings. c1850. Ashlar. Chest tomb has
panelled sides, moulded base and cornice and stepped cap surmounted by
statue of a mourning female resting upon a cylindrical column. Covered
and framed by a square plan canopy with round arched open sides; moulded
cornice, and concave sided cap with finial. Enclosed by cast iron
railings and gate; fleur-de-lys interspersed with spears and strengthened
by dog-leg stanchions. Inscriptions to Sarah Bill died 1853; Robert Bill
died 1848; Mary Bill died 1852; Constantia Walton Bill (date illegible).
