Chesterfield Lodge

A Grade II Listed Building in Cromer, Norfolk

Chesterfield Lodge circa 1890-1910

The original octagonal chimneys on the east elevation are sadly replaced by mid 20th century rectangular brick ones. The round attic window is now square and the double gate reduced to one but otherwise the house is the same. There are even remnants of the lattice fence still stuck in the hedge. An Edwardian pillar box now stands close to the street corner, so this image pre-dates its emplacement.
