Lodge to Epping House (q.v.). 1908 for Sir Brodie Henderson. Stuccoed
brick. Grey Westmoreland slate tall pyramidal roof. Square on plan. 1
storey and attic. Recessed entrance facing drive, half glazed door with
a raised fielded panel. Panelled reveals, elaborate shell hood on S
brackets. Flanking single light small pane casements, architraves with
cornices. Brick plinth. Deep moulded eaves with paired modillions. Tall
pedimented 2 light dormers on all sides. Tall ridge stack with rebated
corners, cornice. Right return 3 light small pane casement. Projecting
outshut to rear right. Interior not inspected. Later flat roofed
extension to left not of special interest. (G Millington, Little
Berkhamsted, 1981).
