Cottage, originally 3 dwellings. C17, remodelled C20. Coursed limestone and
ironstone rubble, ironstone banded with limestone in two left bays. Squared
ironstone quoins, artificial stone slate roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays.
Windows in third and fourth bays from right have C17 square stone hoods and C20
three-light wood casements. Two 2-light casement windows with wood lintels to
right. Three similar 3-light windows to left. All first floor windows are
3-light wood casements with wood lintels. Coped left gable end with kneelers.
2-light stone mullioned window to first floor on left side. Entrance at rear has
wood lintel, plank door and C20 stone porch. Interior: Chamfered spine beams in
ground floor rooms. Open fireplace and bread oven.
