Cottage. c.1800-22. Red brick in Flemish bond with flared headers, graded slate
roof, brick ridge stack. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central blocked
door with pointed arched head. 2-light Gothick casement windows with timber
Y-tracery, that to attic in pedimental gable. Deep overhanging eaves. One of a
group of 4 detached cottages on east side of the Green, forming part of a model
estate village. Built for 3rd Earl of Pomfret.
