House. Mid C18. Coursed squared limestone, plain tile roof, brick end stacks.
2-unit central staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central
6-panel part-glazed door, hinged in middle in moulded wood frame, with
flat-arched head and trellis porch. 12-pane sash windows to ground and first
floor, those to ground floor with flat-arched heads, those to first floor with
timber lintels. Plinth and stone eaves. Interior has stone flagged floors,
dog-leg staircase with turned balusters to ground and first floor flights, splat
balusters to attic flight. Late C18 painted wood chimneypiece with ornamental
detail; open fireplace in kitchen with chamfered bressumer; spine beams, mostly
boxed, in upper rooms; fitted cupboards with shaped shelves.
