Garden walls and 2 gateways. Walls probably C18; gates and piers 1921 by
Robert Mauchlen for Sir Angus Watson. Dressed stone walls,ashlar piers, wood
and wrought iron gates.
In centre, in front of front door of house (q.v.) pedestrian gate: square
corniced ashlar piers with pyramidal caps; Arts-and-Crafts style wood gate
with concave top rail. Flanking, ramped-down, concave quadrant walls, continuing
left and right in similar style. They are c.4 ft. high with steeply-ridged
coping.
At east end, carriage gates with square corniced piers and elaborate wrought
iron gates.
