Stable block. 1764 for Newton Ogle. Rendered with ashlar plinth and archway.
Graduated Lakeland slate roof. 1 : 3: 1 bays. Single-storey central section:
central elliptical carriage arch with rusticated surround and pediment bearing
arms of Ogle family. Flanking 12-pane sashes in architraves.

2-storey end pavilions. Right pavilion has 12-pane sash in architrave on ground
floor and similar 6-pane sash above. Left pavilion has large early C19
tripartite window on ground floor; 6-pane sash above. Pavilions have pyramidal
roofs. Above the centre bay a clock with Tuscan drum and lead dome.

Soffit of archway has coffered plaster tunnel vault.

On left return,early C19 conservatory. Single storey, 4 bays divided by Tuscan
pilasters. Full-height windows with close-set vertical glazing bars.
