Pair of houses. Western early C19 heightened c.1880, eastern built as Vicarage
c.1880. Squared tooled stone, slate roofs. 2 storeys, 7 bays. Boarded door
with overlight in chamfered surround in bay 3, early C20 wooden porch with
latticed pointed fanlight in bay 6; late C19 sashes except for 12-pane sashes
to ground floor of bays 1 and 2. All lst floor windows in gabled half-dormers
with overlapped slab coping. Right gable has moulded kneelers and similar
coping. 2 stepped and corniced stacks onridge and one at right end.

Listed for group value with Post Office. Extension to right rear not of interest.
