House, formerly vicarage. C18 with older core. Largely rebuilt mid C18 by
Rev. William Ellison. Ashlar with stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays with
lower 1-bay side wings. Central 6-panelled door with overlight. Windows are
renewed 4-pane sashes. Lower wing to left has two 20-pane sashes. Gabled
roof with corniced white brick end stacks. Stone corniced end stack on lower
wing to right.

Rear facade has irregular fenestration and short projecting cross-gabled wing
with 2-storey canted bay which has door of 6 flush panels, and three 8-pane
sashes above. Steeply-pitched roof.

Interior has one wall about 5 ft thick said to be remnant of former tower.
Also 6-panelled doors and internal shutters.
