No 37, Newcastle House

(Formerly listed as Newcastle Arms Public House, BRIDGEGATE)

Early C19. Three storeys in brick with painted band between first and top floors. Four windows, segmental-arched heads, no glazing bars. Ground floor has two modern windows and stone rusticated doorway with cornice on consoles. Carriage archway to right.

Newcastle House and Parish Church of St Michael the Archangel form a group.
