Large detached house. Early C19. Gault brick. Low hipped slate
roof with oversailing eaves and symmetrically placed stacks. 3-bay
symmetrical entrance front with slight centre break and pilaster
quoins. Central door with 6-fielded panels and fanlight with radial
glazing bars, all set in a round arched recessed panel with moulded
impost blocks and gauged brick arches. To each side, a single sash
with glazing bars with raised sills and flat brick arches. Three
similar sashes with glazing bars to 1st floor. The garden front is
of 3 bays including the central 2-storey 3-light canted bay which has
tall 15-pane sashes to ground floor with single glazing bar sashes
either side. Smaller glazing bar sashes to 1st floor.
Interior: contemporary staircase. Window shutters.
