GV II
House. Late C18/early C19. Coursed squared marlstone with some ashlar dressings;
Welsh-slate roof with brick gable stacks, 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic and
semi-basement. 3-window front has the doorway to left of centre, below a
stone-slated canopy on carved posts, and has flanking 4-pane sashes with similar
regularly-spaced windows at first floor, all with ashlar flat arches. Right
ground-floor window is raised over a 2-light basement window. Left gable has a
leaded 2-light casement. Shallow-pitched roof. Interior not inspected.
Terminates an interesting row of C17 and C18 stone houses. Included for group
value.
