House. C17 and early/mid C18. Random and coursed squared limestone rubble with
some ashlar dressings; concrete plain-tile roof with rubble and brick ridge
stack. 4-unit plan with subsidiary bay. One storey plus attic. 4-window front of
main range, facing away from road, has a doorway and, to right of it, a 3-light
casement, both with ashlar flat arches and projecting keyblocks; to left is a
small blocked window, and in the extreme right bay, which is mostly random
rubble, is a 3-light casement with a wooden lintel. Roof has 4 low dormers and,
to right of centre, a fine C17 stack on a rubble base rising via broach-shaped
weatherings to 2 diagonal stacks with moulded string courses. Subsidiary bay to
left of main range is lower and has a further entrance and casement. Interior
not inspected.
