1879. Former school. Knapped flint with red brick. Retiled roof with
crested tiles and finials above main gable end to street. Lancet vent
above large Gothic window with tracery. Door under twin gabled porch
on western side facade with stone tablet above. Buttresses on this elevation.
This building is included in the statutory list for its visual importance
at the end of the group.

The raised pavement and wall forms part of a group with Nos 5 to 19 (odd)
the South Oxfordshire Technical College Old School and Main Buildings,
Nos 43 to 49 (odd) and the wall and gate piers to former Paradise House.
Ancastle Cottage, Nos 2 to 36 (even) and the pavement surface in front
of Nos 2 to 36 (even) opposite. Ancastle Cottage also forms a group with
the entrance walls, piers and gates and the lower lodge of Friar Park.
