Circa 1850. Coursed rubble, part rendered, ashlar dressings and quoins.
2 storeys, sash windows, canted bays, hipped slate roof. Listed for the
ceiling of the room added on the North side circa 1900. Circa 1571, taken
from the corner building of Cornmarket Street and High Street (demolished
1900). Plaster ceiling decorated with fleur-de-lys, crowned double roses
and with pendants. The frieze of vine leaves and mermaids is also complete.
The whole appears unaltered and is in good condition.
