House. RCHM 109. C17 in origin, remodelled in Cl8, 3-storeyed stuccoed
timber-framed with cellars, an oversailing of the lst and 2nd floors, rusticated
quoins and a Welsh slate roof. The ground floor is roughcast and the overhang
here is supported on 3 wooden scrolled brackets. In the lst floor are 2
Cl8-C19 sash windows in moulded wood frames with stuccoed keystones and in
the 2nd floor are 2 Cl8-Cl9 sash windows. Interior: RCHM p 170 a. The rubble
North wall of the cellar is part of the city wall.
Church of St Michael, Cornmarket Street and Nos 1 to 6 (consec),
8 to 16 (consec) form a group.
