Shop. C20 refronted with a 3-storeyed stuccoed front with rusticated quoins
and a moulded cornice in a C18 style but an older core. There is a Welsh
slate hipped roof in which is a gabled attic dormer. In each floor are
2 3-sided bays with sashes with glazing bars in moulded wood frames with
moulded architraves. The back portion of the building is modern.
Nos 48 to 53 (consec) form a group with trinity and Balliol Colleges.
