Small house. Early C17, largely rebuilt C19. Limestone rubble with yellow brick
dressings; plain-tile roof and red brick stacks on stone base. 2-unit
lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys. 2-window front with red-brick dentil course and
yellow brick quoins has central plank door between 2-light casements with
segmental arches; similar windows at first floor. Massive central stack has
cluster of 3 diagonal shafts. Right gable wall is timber framed and rendered
above a rubble and tiled outbuilding. Rear is C19 with 2 first-floor half
dormers and a round-headed arch. Interior: Built up back-to-back fireplaces in
central stack; exposed framing of right gable wall; heavy chamfered and stopped
beams; plank doors. Roof probably raised and house extended to rear in C19.
