Two cottages, now house. Early C18. Limestone rubble and some brick dressings;
thatched roof with brick gable stacks. Each a 2-unit plan. One storey plus
attics. 4-window front retains 2 doorways between 2-light casements with 2-light
dormers above. Some casements renewed. C20 porch to left entrance. C20 extension
at rear. Interior: Left cottage has large open fireplace with flanking winder
stair, heavy beam with ogee stops, and 2-bay roof with trenched purlins; right
cottage has large open fireplace with bread oven; moulded jowled post.
Timber-framed partitions at first floor.
